The Indira Gandhi Technological And Medical Sciences University, popularly known as IGTAMSU, is located in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh. The University was established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh under Indira Gandhi Technological And Medical Sciences University ACT 2012. It has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The School of Nursing established by the University is also recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. The IGTAMSU Arunachal Pradesh courses has designed a masterplan paradigm for launching need based vocational and employment centric courses with the main objective of providing tertiary education to the young boys and girls from all over the country in general and from the State of Arunachal Pradesh in particular. For the current session 2023, important programmes being launched include ANM, GNM, B.Com., M.Com. M.Sc., BSW, BBA, MBA, BPT, MPT, BNYS, B.Sc. (MLT), M.Sc. (MLT), BA (Physical Education), MA (Physical Education), PG Diploma in Sports Coaching. IGTAMSU admissions 2023 are conducted online through the official website of the University.
